Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and craft beers with precision and flair
- Develop new beverage recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting, incorporating current trends and customer preferences
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and ensure an exceptional experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs and credit card payments efficiently
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to support catering events and special functions, ensuring seamless service delivery
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality or speed
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or bartender in a fast-paced hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or upscale environments
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, spirits, wine varieties, cocktail techniques, and food pairing principles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in beverage recipe development and staying current with industry trends in craft cocktails and beverages
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Previous retail math or cash handling experience ensuring accuracy in transactions
- Hospitality industry experience including food service or restaurant operations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for accurate billing and inventory management
