Payroll Specialist
$52K - $62K/year | Monday-Friday | Direct Hire | West Des Moines, IA
Responsibilities:
- Complete full cycle payroll by processing weekly payroll, generating various payroll reports, and processing garnishments and deductions
- Prepare corresponding journal entries, and payroll account reconciliations
- Complete multi-state payroll
- Maintain compliance with federal and state labor and tax regulations
- Document, update, and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and processes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years related Payroll experience
- Associates or Bachelors in Accounting preferred
- Multitask effectively and ability to operate independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme integrity
