We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cabinet Installer.
In this role, you will oversee the installation of custom cabinets, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive carpentry skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction plans and technical drawings. The Lead Cabinet Installer position offers an opportunity to lead projects from start to finish, contribute to high-quality craftsmanship, and support the successful completion of residential renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cabinet installation projects on residential sites, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install cabinets, fixtures, and related woodwork.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform precise measurements, framing, rebar installation, door hanging, siding application, and trim carpentry as required.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently to handle large cabinetry components and materials.
- Oversee the use of woodworking machines and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood construction materials.
- Conduct quality checks during installation processes to ensure alignment with design specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople such as plasterers or tile setters to coordinate workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following power tool safety procedures and proper handling of materials like stucco or mold remediation when necessary.
- Assist in remodeling projects involving fixture installation, door hanging, siding application, or restoration work.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ yrs. proven leadership experience in cabinetry installation using a wide range of product types, sizes, and difficulties.
- Ability to personally execute whole house installs with only plans and limited guidance, either alone or with a team.
- Lead a team of junior installers from project start to finish cohesively.
- Manage installations at single family homes and multiple building/multiple unit projects with limited direction.
- Comfortable with leveraging various forms of technology to improve what you do.
- Working knowledge and ability to read, understand, and follow detailed cabinetry plans.
- Complete high-quality, high-profile projects in the time allotted by anticipating and balancing workload based upon general guidelines established.

- Understand and conform to company policies and procedures.
- Use company time conscientiously, arriving for work on time.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Own hand tools (major tools provided).
- Valid DL w/ own transportation, acceptable driving record.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
Pay rate: $25 to $30 an hour, based on experience and interview.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm.
