Are you outgoing, energetic, and love making people laugh, cheer, and compete? The Game Showdown Room is looking for a high-energy Part-Time Game Show Host to bring our live interactive game show experience directly to local schools, churches, businesses, and community events throughout the Tampa Bay area.
This is not your typical entertainment job. Our hosts become the face of the experience — creating unforgettable moments through exciting challenges, team competitions, music, crowd interaction, and TV-style game show energy.
Until our permanent venue opens, this position will focus on traveling events and mobile game show experiences.

The Game Showdown Room is an interactive, high-energy game show experience where participants don’t just watch — they step into the spotlight. With lights, music, dress-up props for team challenges, and a live host guiding the action, every participant is engaged, involved, and having fun from start to finish.
Inspired by popular TV game shows, team-building competitions, minute-to-win-it challenges, trivia battles, music games, and audience participation experiences, we create unforgettable events for:

Responsibilities
- Host live game show events with high energy and enthusiasm
- Engage crowds of kids, teens, adults, and corporate groups
- Explain game rules clearly and keep events running smoothly
- Set up and break down basic event equipment
- Travel to schools, churches, businesses, and event locations
- Operate microphones, music, timers, buzzers, and simple AV equipment
- Encourage participation and create a fun, inclusive atmosphere
- Assist with team organization, scorekeeping, and transitions between games
- Adapt hosting style based on the audience and event type
- Represent The Game Showdown Room™ brand professionally at all times
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Naturally outgoing and confident speaking in front of groups
- Fun, energetic, animated, and quick on their feet
- Great with kids, teens, families, and adults
- Comfortable using microphones and interacting with crowds
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to think quickly and improvise when needed
- Comfortable traveling locally for events
- Available evenings and weekends
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Experience in theater, improv, DJing, teaching, coaching, youth ministry, entertainment, or hosting
- Experience working school events, camps, or youth programs
- Basic audio/visual or tech setup experience
- Social media or video content experience
Schedule
