Are you a creative designer who enjoys bringing ideas to life through print, digital, and multimedia marketing? We're seeking a Senior Graphic Designer for a well-established, mission-driven organization in the Harrisburg area. This is a full-time, exempt position offering the opportunity to lead creative projects, maintain brand standards, and produce engaging marketing materials that support community outreach and organizational initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who enjoys a wide variety of projects, from print collateral and social media graphics to photography, website visuals, and video content. You'll collaborate with marketing, communications, and leadership teams while overseeing creative projects from concept through production.
What You'll Do
- Design and produce high-quality marketing materials for print, digital, web, and social media platforms.
- Ensure brand standards and visual identity guidelines are consistently followed across all communications.
- Create brochures, flyers, posters, bookmarks, signage, web graphics, and other promotional materials
- Prepare production-ready files for commercial and digital printing.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop creative solutions that support marketing and community outreach efforts.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for printing and production services.
- Capture photography at events and assist with creating promotional and advocacy videos.
- Partner with the website team to provide creative direction, graphics, and digital content.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Oversee creative materials for displays, exhibits, and signage.
- Supervise a Graphic Artist Assistant and provide guidance on design projects.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Adobe, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Experience creating both print and digital marketing materials.
- Knowledge of print production and preparing files for commercial printing.
- Website graphics and digital design experience preferred.
- Photography and video production experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and across departments.
- Reliable transportation for occasional travel to organizational locations and community events.
