Civil Project ManagerJob Overview
Eagle is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for managing civil engineering projects from proposal through construction while providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate is organized, solution-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment where quality, communication, and client relationships are top priorities.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee project schedules, budgets, and technical design while coordinating with clients, municipalities, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple civil engineering projects from initial proposal through final construction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships through consistent communication and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare project proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, surveyors, and permitting staff.
- Oversee the design and production of construction plans for commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
- Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as applicable engineering standards.
- Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and review staff throughout the permitting process.
- Review engineering plans, calculations, reports, and specifications for quality and accuracy.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and contract deliverables while proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Attend client meetings, development meetings, and public hearings as needed.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to project engineers and design staff.
- Support business development efforts by maintaining existing client relationships and assisting with new project opportunities.
- Collaborate with Eagle's Survey, Construction Materials Testing, and administrative teams to deliver successful projects.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing civil engineering or land development projects.
- Strong knowledge of site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, utilities, and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Experience coordinating with local municipalities and regulatory agencies throughout North and South Carolina is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build client relationships and lead project teams.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
