Our company is seeking a Qc Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with difficult customer personalities and have a passion for both customer relations and compliance. This position will be responsible for auditing product quality to ensure it meets or exceeds all industry standards, policy and regulation requirements. A successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team in a busy setting. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential, and a keen attention to detail is highly important for this role.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for implementing and recording all paperwork associated with HACCP, SOP, SSOP, GMP and other Pre-Requisite Programs.
o Reports all quality issues, product related or not, to management.
o Checking that the production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements
o Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes
o Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
· Proposing improvements to the production process
· Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
· Conducting sanitary inspections prior to production to ensure machinery and areas are clean
· Coaching the production team on quality control measures to improve production excellence and prevent contamination
o Communicate with appropriate supervisor/manager about continuous issues
· Assist and inspect export loads and its corresponding paperwork
Serve as a line of communication to and from USDA personnel when needed or available
