Position Overview
As a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver, you'll play a key role in our daily operations by managing inventory, preparing customer orders, coordinating shipments, and delivering products to residential and commercial job sites. This position requires someone who is organized, safety-focused, customer-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional experience on every project.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Safely load and unload cabinetry, countertops, and building materials.
- Deliver products to residential and commercial job sites while providing professional customer service.
- Verify deliveries with photos and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock organization.
- Ensure materials are packaged and secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, installers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as needed.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping & receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
- Delivery driving experience is a plus.
- Experience operating a forklift or willingness to become forklift certified.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials throughout the workday.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification.
- Mechanical aptitude or construction experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A dependable work ethic and positive attitude.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working in both warehouse and outdoor job site environments.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical work throughout the day.
