JOB Responsible for providing adult students with appropriate instruction to develop their skills in literacy, language, math and areas related to their own goals. Work is performed under the supervision of the Adult Literacy Manager. No supervision is exercised over other employees. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Reviews lesson plans and materials.

Implements plans with groups of adult learners. Teaches subjects including reading, phonics, vocabulary, writing, math, current events, and history.

Takes attendance and provides written feedback to teacher.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience teaching adult basic reading, writing, and mathematics. Computer skills also required.
