Multifamily On-Site Superintendent
**Location:** Projects located in Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia (Travel Required)
**Compensation:** $100,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Multifamily On-Site Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation construction projects across Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia. In this role, you will serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for the successful execution of multifamily apartment and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction professional with strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to manage complex projects while traveling between job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage daily operations including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, material deliveries, and workforce supervision.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Conduct regular quality control inspections and ensure all work meets or exceeds design specifications and building codes.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to address challenges and implement solutions.
Maintain detailed daily reports, photo documentation, and accurate records of job site activities.
Oversee punch list completion, final inspections, and project closeout processes.
Travel regularly between project sites in Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on multifamily apartment projects (wood-frame, podium, or garden-style experience preferred).
Proven track record successfully delivering multifamily projects from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor management.
Thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in the Midwest/Appalachian region.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
OSHA 30-hour certification (or ability to obtain).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across assigned states.
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, or similar) is a plus.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
