Job Summary:
A Crane Operator is responsible for operating a variety of cranes to assist in the delivery and removal of materials and equipment. The Crane Operator will also rig materials/equipment to the crane and must be able to perform basic crane maintenance duties. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Weekends and overtime will be assigned as needed.

What you'll do:
- Maintain postural balance to safely enter/exit equipment and access various locations in the shipyard and dock.
- Properly operate cranes to accurately transport materials to and from the dry dock and barges.
- Operate and extend a boom forklift.
- Rig materials to cranes to allow for transportation.
- Maintain effective verbal and non-verbal communication with various team members.
- Utilize various hand tools to perform basic maintenance duties on cranes.

- Appropriate licensure and training to safely operate cranes according to standard operating procedures.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.
- Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.
- Comply with all personnel policies and practices. On-the-job training, regular training, and recertification required.
- Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams.
