Garage Door Installer / Service Technician
R & R Door Corp. is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our growing team. We provide residential and commercial garage door installation, repair, and maintenance services throughout Niagara and Erie Counties.
Previous garage door, construction, mechanical, or skilled-trade experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial garage doors and openers
- Diagnose and repair garage door and opener issues
- Replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, panels, and other hardware
- Load and unload doors, tools, and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and jobsite
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Accurately complete work orders and job documentation
- Follow company procedures and all required safety practices
- Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable working on ladders and at heights and cannot be afraid of heights
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to perform physical work, including lifting and carrying garage door materials
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Valid driver’s license with a reliable driving record
- Ability to pass any required background or employment screenings
