Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team. Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to follow written standard operating procedures, production instructions, safety requirements, and sanitation procedures accurately.
- Ability to operate automated manufacturing or packaging equipment after training and respond appropriately to machine alarms and operating conditions.
- Ability to complete production, quality, and traceability records accurately and legibly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor production lines to ensure proper functioning and quality standards are met
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Follow FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and safety protocols during all operations
- Assist with assembly, packaging, and labeling of products as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs or adjustments on equipment
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely when necessary
- Document production activities accurately and report any issues promptly
Skills
- Strong understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and industry best practices for food manufacturing
- Experience with packaging processes within a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery using hand tools
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including forklift operation and inventory handling
- Ability to perform assembly tasks efficiently and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
