- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients or clients using online portals and phone-based inquiries
- Accurately scan, index, and manage documents within electronic document management systems
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, clients, and internal team members
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in insurance information or documentation
- Support administrative staff with data entry and clerical tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer-facing interactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment
- Prior experience in insurance verification, medical billing, or customer service is a plus but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
