EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this part-time Van Driver position, you will enhance the mobility of consumers by providing professional and accessible transportation in a safe, reliable, comfortable, and courteous manner. This is a great chance for a people-person to work independently while directly helping the community. Your duties will include:
Drive a County Van: Operate a county vehicle an average of 150 miles each day to provide transportation service to our consumers including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent persons-
Communicate Well: Excellent communication skills required, both person to person and via two-way radio

Help Consumers: Willingness and patience to assist consumers, including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent consumers, along rough payment or unpaved paths

Be Adaptable: Easily adjust in daily schedule to help meet consumer needs

Be Kind and On Time: Provide important assistance and socialization while following a schedule to help multiple consumers throughout the day
Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Part-time employment, 14-21+ hours per week

Transportation operates 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturdays
