Job Summary:
We're seeking a compassionate and patient-focused PCA to join our team. As a PCA, you'll provide essential personal care services, including assistance with daily living activities, companion care, and light housekeeping. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of dignity and respect in care delivery, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with daily living activities, such as using the bathroom, eating, and medication reminders
- Offer companionship and social support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Engage in conversation, play games, or watch TV with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care delivery
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license (not required, but a plus)
