Control Room Security Guard
Position Summary
Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Control Room Operator to join our team at our Red Hook warehouse facility in Brooklyn. This role is responsible for monitoring security systems, maintaining situational awareness of facility operations, and supporting a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
- Respond to security alerts and incidents according to established procedures
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
- Coordinate with staff as needed
- Assist with emergency response procedures when required
- Ensure adherence to company safety and security protocols
Qualifications
- Must have an active security guard license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior security, monitoring, or control room experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
