Shift: 6:15am – 2:45pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $19.00

Atlas Staffing has partnered with a premier, privately-held global manufacturer and supplier of cutting-edge visual communication, event, and display products.
Our client is looking for a print room operator to join their team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ability to learn how to monitor print queues and printing jobs as prioritized by TCM
- Ability to assure accuracy of orders before processing
- Basic understanding of appropriate material to complete order requirements per BOM in TCM
- Ability to learn how to correspond artwork from data base
- Prepare artwork for printing to assure quality and accuracy
- When work order is completed, label printed material as per specifications to assure accurate identification
- Scan material, scrap and work order as specified
- Understanding and ability to perform basic preventive maintenance on print equipment
- Maintain maintenance schedules for all printers
What makes you a great fit:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience with RIP Software (Caldera) preferred
- Large format printing experience preferred
- Mac and PC literate
- Pre-press graphics experience a plus
- Ability to use fractional measurements
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to accurately set up and operate machines
- Capability to work with heavy and large material.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English instruction, short correspondence, and memos
- Mathematical skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Physical demands:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach
- Vision requirements – close vision, distance vision, depth perception
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally 50-100 lbs.
- Frequently Push/pull up to 40 lbs., occasionally 50-100 lbs
