As a pediatric therapy company, Hearts and Hands Therapy Services offers a full spectrum of services including physical, occupational, speech, and applied behavior analysis for children from birth through their 21st birthday.
We are hiring for Registered Behavior Technicians for both our clinic based and our home/hybrid ABA therapy program. Our speech, occupational, and physical therapy services are delivered in clinic, and our in home/hybrid ABA therapy is completed both in clinic and in home.
We are hiring for full and part time registered behavior technicians and experienced behavior techs with ABA backgrounds. For part time home-based positions, we are looking for Monday-Friday afternoon availability to be placed with clients between approximately 12PM - 6 PM or afterschool hours 3 - 6PM.
HHTS is a multi-disciplinary practice with a collaborative environment. We empower each other, our families, and every child through our work ethic and core values each and every day. Our RBTs work in small teams under BCBA supervision who provides leadership and collaboration for excellent service to our patients. Our ABA program has a multidimensional approach to provide our pediatric population and families with options of in-home services as well as the opportunity for social opportunities and generalization in clinic. We have full time positions for both our clinic and community based roles. We approach each child individually and throughout the ABA therapeutic process both the BCBA, RBT and families work together on providing each child with the ABA experience that they will benefit from the most.
The community RBT position provides you with the opportunity to access both the family and home environment as well as the clinic for the days in which your cases will be receiving services in that location. Supervision is provided to RBTs on a WEEKLY basis. You will be supported by your BCBA at the least once a week for each case, separately. Registered behavior technician certification preferred. Training available to BTs or ABA techs with sufficient experience. BTs without the BACB RBT certification will receive a pay rate increase when satisfactorily passing their registered behavior technician exam. Certification reimbursement for BTs who pass their exam may be available. The BT pay rate per billable treatment hour is $22 an hour, with an eligible pay rate increase when you receive your RBT. The base pay rate for an RBT with a valid and active RBT certification is $25 an hour.

A successful candidate will have the RBT certification and ABA experience, OR at least six months of ABA experience as a behavior technician in lieu of the RBT certification. Must display a professional demeanor, be on time and in attendance, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently and safely in the home. Technicians must be able to navigate many different home environments, including different family styles, cultures, and pets.

RBT job expectations:
- Provide one on one (1:1) home based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Conduct discrete and natural environment trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
- Be able to work with a variety of therapists including OT, PT, and SLPs in a professional manner
- Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- Complete daily session notes in a timely and thorough manner
- Attend and participate in additional trainings or meetings
- Maintain all materials necessary to uphold your RBT certification
- Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions
- Work with integrity and honesty in accordance with the BACB code of conduct
