Neatly Clean LLC is a growing commercial cleaning company serving apartment communities, commercial properties, and professional office spaces throughout Fort Wayne and surrounding areas.
We're looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Technician who takes pride in their work and can be trusted to provide consistent, quality service.
This is a part-time position with a combination of daytime and evening work. Our workload can change from week to week, so we're looking for someone who has flexibility and is interested in growing with the company as we continue adding new clients.
What You'll Be Doing
Our team works at several types of commercial and apartment properties. Depending on the day's assignments, responsibilities may include:
Apartment Turnover Cleaning
- Clean vacant apartments between residents
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms
- Clean sinks, countertops, fixtures, and mirrors
- Clean and sanitize kitchens
- Wipe down cabinets and other surfaces
- Remove dust, dirt, and debris throughout units
- Complete standard and deep-cleaning assignments as scheduled
- Help prepare apartments to be clean and move-in ready
- Report any noticeable maintenance issues or property damage when necessary
Apartment Community & Common-Area Cleaning
- Sweep and mop apartment hallways
- Clean stairwells and landings
- Clean entryways and interior/exterior entry glass
- Wipe down handrails and frequently touched surfaces
- Remove visible trash and debris from assigned common areas
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout apartment communities
Office & Commercial Cleaning
- Vacuum carpeted areas
- Sweep and mop hard floors
- Dust and wipe surfaces
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Clean employee breakrooms and kitchen areas
- Wipe desks and designated surfaces as instructed
- Clean entry doors and interior glass
- Disinfect high-touch areas
- Leave assigned spaces clean, organized, and ready for the next business day
Additional Cleaning Assignments
Depending on workload and client needs, employees may also assist with:
- Deep-cleaning projects
- Carpet cleaning
- Move-in/move-out cleaning
- Special property cleaning requests
- Other commercial cleaning assignments within the normal scope of Neatly Clean services
Schedule & Hours
This is a part-time position with a variable schedule.
Current scheduling may include:
- Approximately 5–20 hours per week
- Daytime apartment turnover cleaning
- Daytime apartment common-area cleaning
- Evening office cleaning approximately twice per week
- Typical evening office hours around 4:30 PM–6:30/7:00 PM
- Additional assignments as new turnovers and cleaning requests are received
- Opportunities for additional hours as Neatly Clean continues to grow
Please note: Hours are based on client needs and workload and are not guaranteed from week to week. Applicants should be comfortable with a flexible part-time schedule.

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be able to travel to cleaning locations throughout Fort Wayne and surrounding areas
- Be available for a combination of daytime and evening assignments
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Be able to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive cleaning movements
- Be able to lift and carry up to approximately 30 pounds
- Be comfortable using standard commercial and residential cleaning products and equipment
- Be able to follow safety instructions and company procedures
Previous commercial, apartment, housekeeping, or residential cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
We're willing to train the right person. Reliability, attention to detail, and work ethic are extremely important to us.
