Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports toddler care, preschool experience, and special education needs
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
- Conduct assessments to monitor childhood development progress and prepare reports for parents and guardians
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, cognitive growth, and fine motor development
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management, and early intervention strategies
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with childcare regulations and standardized testing requirements
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's welfare, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom experience
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques
- Experience in curriculum development across various domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori approaches
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with students who have diverse learning needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists
- Classroom experience involving standardized testing preparation or tutoring is advantageous
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred
