Job Summary
High Rock Medicine and CPC & Pain are growing medical practices serving patients thoughtout the local and surrounding communities. We are seeking a creative, organized, and results-oriented Social Media Coordinator to develop and manage our social medical presence with a primary focus on generating new patient inquiries and appointments.
This is not simply a posting or content-creation position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing social media content and campaigns that increase awareness of our practices, establish trust with prospective patients, drive traffic to our websites, and ultimately convert prospective patients into new patient visits.
The position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits to our offices for photography, video recording, interviews, events, and other content-creation activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy
· Develop and execute a social media strategy for both High Rock Medicine and CPC & Pain.
· Maintain a consistent presence across appropriate platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business Profile as appropriate.
· Develop content specifically designed to attract new patients, rather than simply generating likes or followers.
· Identify topics, patient concerns, seasonal issues, and community interests that can be converted into engaging content.
· Develop campaigns targeted toward specific services, conditions, and patient populations.
· Maintain a content calendar covering both practices
Content Creation
· Create engaging, professional, and patient-friendly posts, graphics, short-form videos, reels, and other social media content.
· Write captions and calls-to-action designed to encourage prospective patients to contact the practice or schedule an appointment.
· Coordinate occasional on-site photography and video sessions.
· Interview providers and staff to develop educational and promotional content.
· Repurpose longer educational content into multiple social media posts and short-form videos.
· Help develop recurring content series that establish our physicians and providers as trusted local healthcare resources.
Patient Acquisition & Marketing
The primary goal of this position is new patient growth.
The Social Media Coordinator will:
· Develop campaigns designed to generate new patient inquiries.
· Promote services and conditions treated by the practices.
· Develop compelling calls-to-action such as scheduling an appointment, calling the office, visiting the website, or requesting additional information.
· Track which campaigns and content generate website traffic, phone calls, contact-form submissions, and new patient appointments.
· Work with practice leadership to identify services and patient populations where additional growth is desired.
· Help develop targeted campaigns for each practice location and its surrounding communities.
· Monitor competitors and local healthcare marketing trends.
Website & Digital Marketing
· Coordinate with practice leadership regarding website content and landing pages.
· Recommend changes to website content that could improve conversion of visitors into prospective patients.
· Assist with basic search-engine optimization (SEO) for social media and website content.
· Ensure social media posts link prospective patients to the appropriate practice website or appointment/contact page.
· Monitor Google Business Profile activity and help maintain accurate, engaging information.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
The coordinator will monitor and report meaningful business metrics, including:
· New patient inquiries generated from social media.
· Website traffic originating from social media.
· Phone calls and contact-form submissions attributable to marketing efforts.
· Appointment requests generated by campaigns.
· New patient visits associated with marketing campaigns when tracking is available.
· Engagement and reach.
· Growth of relevant local audiences.
· Performance of individual campaigns and content types.
Success will be measured primarily by new patient growth and qualified patient inquiries—not simply by follower count or social-media engagement.
Compliance & Professional Standards
Because this position involves healthcare marketing, the coordinator must:
· Follow HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
· Never publish identifiable patient information, photographs, testimonials, or videos without appropriate authorization.
· Maintain professional and accurate healthcare communications.
· Avoid making unsupported medical claims.
· Obtain appropriate approval before publishing sensitive clinical, promotional, or patient-related content.
· Maintain the professional reputation of both practices across all platforms.
Qualifications

· Strong writing and communication skills.
· Ability to create engaging short-form social media content.
· Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to independently manage a content calendar.
· Ability to work independently in a primarily remote environment.
· Comfortable occasionally working on-site for photography, video, interviews, and content development.
· Understanding of basic digital marketing concepts.
· Strong attention to detail.
Preferred
· Experience marketing a medical practice, healthcare organization, or other professional service business.
· Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video.
· Experience with Canva or similar graphic-design platforms.
· Experience with Meta Business Suite.
· Experience with Google Business Profile.
· Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
· Experience running paid social-media advertising campaigns.
· Experience creating video content.
· Experience using analytics to measure marketing results.
· Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare marketing requirements.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who understands that social media is a marketing tool, not just a communication channel.
You should be comfortable asking:
“How will this post help us attract a new patient?”
The successful candidate will be creative enough to produce compelling content, analytical enough to determine what is working, and entrepreneurial enough to continually look for new ways to reach prospective patients in our communities.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can take a relatively small amount of provider time and turn it into a large amount of useful, high-quality content.
Performance Expectations
During the first 90 days, the coordinator should:
1. Establish a consistent social media presence for both practices.
2. Develop a comprehensive content calendar.
3. Establish baseline social-media and website performance metrics.
4. Identify the content topics and formats that generate the greatest engagement and patient interest.
5. Develop campaigns specifically designed to generate new patient inquiries.
