Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough hearing assessments using advanced audiological equipment and interpret results accurately to determine patient needs.
- Perform hearing aid fittings, programming, and adjustments utilizing specialized hearing aid programming software and hearing aid fitting software to optimize device performance.
- Educate patients on device operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
- Manage patient intake processes efficiently, including medical history review, documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), and coordination with healthcare providers when necessary.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns, answering questions, and delivering personalized recommendations based on physiology knowledge and clinical audiology principles.
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in patient management software while adhering to medical terminology standards and ICD coding where applicable.
- Collaborate with team members on hearing assessments for special populations such as pediatrics, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Licensed HIS in the state of Pennsylvania
- Proven experience in clinical audiology or related fields with strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to hearing health.
- Proficiency in medical software systems such as NOAH, hearing assessment tools, hearing aid fitting software, and patient management systems.
- Keen understanding of medical terminology related to audiology and hearing health care procedures.
- Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively during assessments and fittings.
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and patient care.
- Experience working with diverse populations.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
