Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) & TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) on aluminum and carbon steel with accuracy to meet project specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural components.
- Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Fabricate components according to ASME codes & standards while adhering to safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Assist in pipe threading, machining, soldering, assembly, and mechanical installations as needed for various projects.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of safety practices on active job sites.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding techniques, along with specific welding skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with schematics is essential.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment.
- Experience working with ASME codes & standards in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
