You will handle customer service at the counter, prepare and assemble layered meals, and keep the truck clean and organized. Previous
food truck experience is required, you need to thrive in a compact, fast-paced environment where speed and quality go hand in hand.
Responsibilities
Greet customers within 5 seconds and process orders on the POS system.
● Prepare and assemble layered meals per recipe cards — weigh every protein.
● Maintain continuous cleanliness (Clean as you go — every station, every shift).
● Execute opening and closing checklist items as assigned.
● Report to Food Truck Manager: shortages, equipment issues, or customer incidents.
● Assist in receiving deliveries (weight, expiry, and temperature checks).
● Participate in daily cycle counts and FIFO organization.
● Full truck sanitation at end of each shift.
Requirements
● Proven experience working in a food truck OR similar compact food operation (required).
● Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain before start — $15 online, 2 hours).
● Comfortable on POS systems and cash handling.
● Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
● Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working in tight spaces at high speed.
● Available for opening shifts and closing shifts (including weekends).
● Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
