About Our Family
We are a busy, blended family of seven navigating multiple school schedules, active careers, and a household that moves fast. Our home is warm, lively, and well-organized — and we take pride in keeping it that way. We have five kids spanning a wide range of ages, each with their own schedules, needs, and personalities. Our household runs on systems and routines that keep things humming. We are not looking for someone to reinvent the wheel — we need someone who respects what is already in place and helps us maintain it with energy and intention.
Both parents carry demanding professional schedules, and our days are full. The right person will walk into this home, read the room, and get to work without needing to be directed at every turn. We love our kids deeply and want someone in our corner who does too. Our household is high-energy and requires someone who can match that pace with a positive attitude and a genuine love for family life.
We have a sweet, sociable 30 pound dog who is part of the family and cannot be left alone for long stretches.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are energetic, self-directed, and positive — the kind of person who walks into a home and naturally sees what needs to be done. You do not need step-by-step instruction or constant check-ins to feel confident in your work. You communicate directly and clearly, keep personal chatter to a minimum, and bring a calm, capable presence to whatever the day throws at you. You are warm and loving with kids of all ages, and you know how to hold expectations with patience and encouragement rather than rigidity. You are comfortable in a fast-paced, Type A household and thrive when given ownership over your role. Heavy driving does not faze you — in fact, you are comfortable spending a meaningful portion of your day in the car navigating across the city.
