Duties
- Oversee all store operations, including sales, inventory control, staffing, and customer service to ensure seamless daily functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing retail sales team through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage employee orientation, recruiting efforts, interviewing processes, and onboarding to build a skilled and engaged team.
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management to maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, manage purchasing decisions, and implement merchandising strategies to optimize product availability.
- Drive sales growth by developing marketing initiatives, setting sales targets, and executing promotional campaigns aligned with store goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on pricing, customer service standards, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, especially in wireless sales or electronics retail environments.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced settings; excellent managerial communication is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in employee recruitment, training & development, performance evaluation, and team management.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management tools, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for retail math calculations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette expertise; ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining positive relationships.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Organizational skills with experience managing shift schedules, budgeting responsibilities, marketing initiatives, and operational tasks such as merchandising and stock control.
