We are seeking a professional and dependable Lobby Attendant to provide courteous and professional service while maintaining a welcoming, clean, and well-organized environment at our office building in Newark, CA.
The Lobby Attendant serves as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and vendors, providing professional assistance while ensuring the lobby and common areas remain presentable, safe, and operating efficiently.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide courteous, professional, and responsive customer service to tenants, guests, visitors and vendors.
- Verify identification and manage access clearance for tenants, guests, visitors and vendors in accordance with building procedures.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the property to identify safety, security, maintenance, or operational concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the building, including the lobby, entrances, and other common areas.
- Respond promptly and professionally to tenant and management requests.
- Communicate maintenance concerns, building issues, and operational needs to building management.
- Perform routine inspections of common areas and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting daily activities, observations, incidents, and follow-up actions as required.
- Assist with minor building maintenance tasks and support building operations as needed.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by building management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and a courteous, approachable demeanor.
- Previous experience in a lobby attendant or related building operations role preferred.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of tenants, employees, and visitors while effectively handling requests and resolving concerns.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Ability to remain calm, exercise good judgment, and respond appropriately to building-related situations or emergencies.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional presence.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
