Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Clinician / Therapist (Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, or possibly a qualified Registered Intern) to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive mental health services in a supportive environment, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote client well-being across diverse populations.
Duties
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral therapy tailored to client needs.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage acute psychiatric episodes with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with ICD-10 coding standards for diagnoses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management and treatment planning for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex mental health needs.
- Participate in telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health services.
Experience
- Proven experience in delivering clinical counseling across outpatient settings with a focus on mental health assessments and treatment planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
- Familiarity with hospital or inpatient experience is a plus; knowledge of DSM and ICD coding (ICD-10) as well as CPT coding for billing purposes is preferred.
- Strong background in crisis management, patient care coordination, and clinical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to utilize EMR/EHR systems efficiently while maintaining accurate medical records and clinical notes.
- Experience working within outpatient clinics or community-based programs that serve diverse populations is advantageous.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
