Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients and caregivers
- Rooming patients and collecting initial screening information for provider
- Processing biopsies and relaying patient results in an appropriate and detailed oriented manner
- Interacting with patients in a compassionate upbeat manner
- Willing and able to learn medical terminology and knowledge of dermatology to be able to speak with patients in a educated manner
Medical Assistant Requirements and Preferences
- AA or BS degree; preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; required
- Two (2) years' previous customer service experience in a related supportive position preferred
- Medical office experience preferred
- Medical assistant experience preferred
- Dermatology experience preferred
- EMA Experience Preferred or other EMR
- Able to prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
