Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care.
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and stain removal to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote health and safety standards.
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling cleaning routines and coordinating team efforts when applicable.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of cooking can be beneficial for supporting household or hospitality needs.
