The position will include routine checks on hens to verify access to adequate feed, water, and environment to ensure egg production. Routine maintenance on equipment will be required. Employees must abide by standard animal welfare practices and utilize proper bio-security standards. Individuals must be dependable and value working with other team members. - Monday-Friday (6am-3pm) - Weekend/Holiday Rotation
- Provide proper care to layer hens
- Troubleshooting machines, robots, and other farm equipment
- Understand farm computer systems
- Manage part-time employees
- Load eggs into trailers / unload production material from trailers
- Utilize inventory management system
Qualifications
- Mechanical/Electrical Experience
- Ability to Troubleshoot Equipment
- Proficient with Computer Systems
- Management skills
- Effective Communicator
- Forklift Experience
