Location: Production Supervisor, IN
Pay: $36/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (plus shift handoff time)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Potential for direct hire!)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate and oversee employee activities on the production floor
- Support and enforce quality systems and standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within production
- Address and resolve employee concerns and operational issues
- Ensure customer quality standards are consistently met
- Maintain high standards for safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance
- Monitor employee attendance and maintain accurate records
- Enforce departmental discipline and company policies
- Manage daily timekeeping and production reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with machine setup preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated with the ability to lead and develop teams
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer/supplier meetings
- Strong attendance record
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban
- Experience leading projects and process improvements
- Passion for continuous improvement and growth into management
