Overview
The MEO (Maintenance Equipment Operator) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of equipment within our facility. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various tasks related to equipment upkeep while adhering to safety standards. The MEO will work closely with other team members to support operational goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Duties
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery or similar equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for certain tasks related to equipment transport.
