Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and attentive companion caregiver to assist a client in Big Canoe, GA. This part-time weekday role is perfect for someone who enjoys providing companionship and light support in a comfortable home setting. The client has pets, so being pet-friendly is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship
- Assist with meal preparation
- Monitor client safety and overall well-being
- Perform light housekeeping as needed
- Remain attentive and responsive to client needs
- Run errands as needed, primarily picking up medications from local pharmacies/drugstores
- Transport the client to appointments using the client's vehicle
Requirements
- CPR Certification (active and valid)—must be obtained through in-person training (online-only CPR certifications and National CPR Foundation CPR certifications are not accepted)
- Valid, up-to-date Driver’s License
- Updated TB Test (within the last 12 months)
- PCA or CNA certification/score required
- Willingness to complete onboarding forms and pass a background check
- Must be dependable, patient, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a home with pets
