Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring proper securing of cargo for transport.
- Deliver goods to various destinations, including refrigerated facilities, construction sites with flatbed loads, or tanker stations, following planned routes efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and route details in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any logistical concerns promptly.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of specialized loads such as tanker shipments or refrigerated freight when necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or similar large vehicles.
- Familiarity with driving different types of trucks including flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route driving across urban and rural areas.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving and cargo securement standards.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and efficiently.
- Experience working with forklift equipment is a plus for handling certain freight types.

Pay: $1,948.93 - $2,347.10 per week
