We are seeking Live-In Home Health Aides or PCAs to provide hands-on assistance and supportive care for our clients in their home. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and passionate about enhancing the well-being and independence of older adults.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure timely administration of medications as directed by the care plan. Reminders only!
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Help with laundry, dishes, and maintaining a clean, safe living space.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Observe changes in physical or emotional condition and report concerns to care managers or family members.
- Transportation & Errands: Accompany client to appointments, grocery shopping, or community outings as needed (if applicable).
Requirements:
- Valid HHA or PCA certification
- Prior experience in home care or similar setting
- Ability to work and live in the client’s home on a rotating schedule (e.g., 3-4 days/week)
- Clear background check and references
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
