Job description
Qualifications:
- Must have 2-5 years experience (higher on pay scale)
- Must have a CDL Class A or B (higher on pay scale)
- Must be able to lead a 2–4-man team
- Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
- Pole climbing experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day
- Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers
- Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable work attendance
- Must have valid driver's license, CDL is REQUIRED
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Job / Duties Summary
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Perform simple pole transfer or Make Ready
- Perform complex pole transfer or Make Ready
- Place strand, includes guys, bonds, grounds, etc.
- Jig Fiber/Coax
- Lash/Overlash fiber/coax over existing boxes, wires, lines
- Replacing Poles
- Traffic Control & Safety
- Identify correct fiber storage loop requested
- Install fiber storage loop properly
- Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
- Ability to document and validate as-built for new builds and plant modifications
- Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.
- Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift.
- Pole climbing experience
