Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment plans and scheduling appointments with enthusiasm.
- Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with health regulation policies.
- Coordinate with dental providers to facilitate treatment procedures, follow-up appointments, and billing processes efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with patients via phone, text, and email to answer questions, explain treatment options, discuss and collect co-pays, and confirm appointments.
- Support medical administrative tasks such as verifying insurance coverage, processing payments, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Utilize patient management software to track treatment progress, update records, and generate reports for the dental team.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive office atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred; strong office experience is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (such as HIPAA compliance).
- Familiarity with dental terminology is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person.
- Understanding of dental insurance processes and coverage verification procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Typing skills that support quick data entry and accurate record keeping are necessary.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
