Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and support to hospice patients
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents in accordance with ethical standards and regulations
- Drive patients to appointments or outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or hospice care is preferred
- Knowledge of direct support principles and practices
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or individuals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
