Now Hiring: Customer Sales Representative at Hobart Farms Nursery
We’re looking to hire immediately for a Customer Sales Representative / Lead position at Hobart Farms Nursery!
We need someone who truly knows plants and loves helping people find the right plants for their gardens. If you’re the kind of person who can confidently guide customers through plant choices and enjoys talking about gardening, this could be a great fit.
Requirements (non-negotiable):
- Strong plant knowledge (trees, shrubs, perennials, etc.)
- Retail experience
- Prior experience working with plants (nursery, landscaping, gardening, etc.)
- Ability to confidently answer customer questions and make recommendations
- Ability to lift 35lbs comfortably and consistently
- Comfort working in outdoor PNW climate year-round
What you’ll be doing:
- Greeting customers as they arrive
- Helping customers choose the right plants for their needs
- Answering questions about plant care, placement, and maintenance
- Actively upselling and suggesting complementary plants/products
- Keeping a friendly, welcoming, and productive environment
- Register check out

Schedule & Fit:
- Great for plant enthusiasts / seasonal workers

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
