We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing staff effectively. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain a positive work environment while meeting the demands of our food service establishment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of team members during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members on food production techniques and customer service standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Support the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation and cooking when necessary.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or as an assistant manager in a similar environment.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent team management abilities, promoting teamwork and motivation among staff.
- Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a welcoming experience for all guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience in food production processes, with the ability to assist in cooking when required.
- Background in hospitality management is a plus, especially for banquet services.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
