Immediate Full Time opening (32-40 hours per week) for a Child Care Nurse Consultant (CCNC) with American Home Finding Association's Child/Adolescent Health program. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred but must be a valid licensed Registered Nurse to apply.
The CCNC provides ongoing guidance, training, coordination, and support alongside current AHFA CCNC to local child care centers and homes in Appanoose, Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Mahaska, Marion, Monroe and Wapello Counties to promote safe and healthy child care environments for all children. The CCNC provides child care businesses with support in timely immunizations, developmental screenings, referrals for mental health, and access to a variety of health services for every child in a child care setting.
Maintains consistent communication with Iowa Department of Health & Human Services, other community members, and AHFA staff. Assures all reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
