Store Manager needed - Pacific Northwest Petroleum, Inc, a Portland based company, owns several Quikserv/76 stations throughout Oregon and Washington. We currently are seeking Store Managers in the SW Portland Metro area.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, supervise employees and manage inventory
- Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet the needs of our customers
- Be part of a team to develop successful sales plans to grow profitability
- Recruit, train, develop and motivate your employees
- Demonstrate leadership and promote a teamwork oriented environment setting high standards and modeling behavior for outstanding customer service
- Implement new product lines and create strategies to introduce and promote them to our customers
- Ensure product mix and inventory levels are properly maintained to increase sales and control inventory
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws within the scope of the fuel/convenience/food store
Operations Requirements:
- Must maintain a high level of customer service
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
- Must exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion, appropriate handling of emergency situations
- Ability to work evenings and weekends if needed.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Above average math skills.
- High school diploma or greater.
- Maintain facility at company image standards.
- Work unsupervised and in a fast-paced environment.
- Appropriate handling of emergency situations
Preferred:
- 3 or more years of management experience
- Prior successful food service, retail, grocery experience
- Must possess intermediate PC skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to store personnel at all levels

Experience:
- Retail: 5 years (Preferred)
- Management: 2 years (Preferred multi-site)

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
