About South Shore Child & Family Counseling
South Shore Child & Family Counseling is a clinician-owned outpatient mental health practice serving children, adolescents, and adults on the South Shore since 2013. We provide structured, evidence-based, and trauma-informed therapy in a professional therapeutic setting.
We work with clients across the lifespan. Clinicians in this role must be open to and comfortable working with children and adolescents as well as adults.
Position Overview
We are seeking an LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or Master’s Level Clinician to provide outpatient psychotherapy services in a hybrid model (in-person in South Weymouth and telehealth).
This role is especially well suited for clinicians who want to strengthen their clinical skills within a structured and supportive outpatient setting. Clinicians will gain experience working with clients across the lifespan, including children and adolescents, while receiving consistent supervision, training, consultation.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual therapy (and family sessions when appropriate), and completing clear, timely documentation.

Schedule Requirements
- Full-Time: 20+ clinical hours per week
- Minimum of one evening per week (until 7:00 pm EST)
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain required billable hours
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
- Participate in paid individual and group supervision
- Communicate with families, schools, and other collateral contacts as appropriate
- Maintain professional and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Massachusetts license preferred (master’s level clinicians considered)
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
- Experience working with or willingness to work with children and youth
- Strong documentation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently within a team structure
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
