About the Role
Our busy Hyannis primary care practice is seeking an experienced LPN/RN to take a leading role in clinical operations. This position is ideal for a seasoned nurse who can work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and help set the standard of care for our growing team.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting
- Proven proficiency with EMR systems (1+ year required)
- Triage experience strongly preferred — ability to assess patient needs and prioritize care in a fast-paced setting
- A confident, self-directed clinician comfortable managing a high volume of patient care with minimal oversight
- Someone who can mentor and support front-desk and clinical staff during busy periods
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead patient care delivery: vital signs, EKGs, injections, and cerumen impaction management
- Triage patient concerns by phone and in-office, determining appropriate urgency and next steps
- Manage medication renewals and coordinate new prescriptions per provider direction
- Independently order and follow up on clinical tests, communicating results to patients
- Handle prior authorizations with minimal supervision
- Step in to support front-office operations (scheduling, check-in/out, phones) as needed
- Serve as a clinical resource and steady hand in a fast-paced environment
