Interventional Pain Physician — Las Vegas, NV, Personal Injury Practice
Expert Witness Work, 3.5-Day Week, No Call
Relevium Pain Specialists is hiring a full-time board-certified interventional pain physician for our Las Vegas practice.
What makes this role different
We are a personal injury practice, which means our physicians serve as both treating physicians and retained medical experts. Alongside clinical work, you will author expert reports and future care projections, give deposition and trial testimony, and build working relationships within the medical-legal community. It's the most distinctive part of practicing here, and for the right physician it's the most rewarding: you develop a genuine reputation in the medical-legal community, your clinical reasoning gets sharpened by having to defend it, and the medical-legal side opens professional opportunities that a standard pain practice doesn't. We encourage any candidate to ask us about it in detail early on, because it shapes the day-to-day more than anything else on this list.
The clinical work
We are out of network with health insurance. No prior authorizations, no denials, no utilization review, no RVU targets. You determine what is medically indicated and you do it. Our focus is as acute and chronic interventional pain specialists, whose treatment armamentarium includes in-office procedures, as well as fluoroscopically and ultrasound-guided diagnostic and therapeutic blocks, regenerative procedures, RFA, discograms, kyphoplasty, and SCS trials/implants performed in a dedicated ASC with an experienced nursing team. You’ll work
with, train, and supervise one APP, which extends your clinical capacity and protects your procedure schedule. We are not an opioid management practice, and do not perform intrathecal trials or pumps. We work as a genuine multidisciplinary group (with training backgrounds in anesthesiology and critical care, PM&R, neurology), with in-house mental health and established relationships with experienced clinicians across the community.
Schedule
- 3 clinic days (8a–6p) + 1 procedure half-day, typically finished before noon
- Every weekend is a three-day weekend, structurally, not as an occasional perk
- No call. No weekends. All holidays off.
- Flexible/Unlimited PTO; physicians take at least 4 work weeks off annually.
- Health, dental, vision; 401(k); malpractice with tail coverage
- Nevada licensure and CME allowance covered
- Expert engagements are compensated separately from base salary
Who we are looking for
- Board-certified in pain medicine; graduate of an ACGME-accredited pain medicine fellowship
- Full independent interventional scope
- Genuine interest in medical-legal work. Prior expert experience is ideal, but we will train the right person from the ground up.
- Comfortable representing yourself publicly: attorney meetings, medical lectures/presentations, community reputation, testimony under cross-examination
- Someone looking for a durable practice, not a stepping stone?
We are open to relocation, provided you have all relevant Nevada credentials. Las Vegas offers big-city amenities at suburban cost, no state income tax, and immediate access to some of the best food, entertainment, and outdoor recreation in the country.
