About Neighborhood Sushi
Neighborhood Sushi is bringing an elevated sushi experience to Dallas—blending Japanese-inspired cuisine, Texas hospitality, stunning design, and an energetic atmosphere. We are looking for polished Expos to act as the bridge between our kitchen and our guests.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the pass, ensuring all dishes are plated accurately and garnished perfectly before running to the table.
- Communicate effectively between the sushi/hot line and the service team regarding ticket times and order modifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized pass and run food with flair and urgency.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in high-volume food running or expo roles.
- Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency.
- Attention to detail regarding quality and visual presentation.
- TABC and Food Handlers Certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to carry trays/plates (up to 30 lbs).
- Must be able to maintain focus and poise in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
