Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding tasks and mechanical repairs, including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) where applicable.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and drainage to prevent leaks and ensure proper function.
- Assist with residential painting projects and general facilities upkeep to enhance the appearance and safety of the premises.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, providing leadership and guidance to junior team members when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Skilled in electrical equipment repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and troubleshooting schematics.
- Ability to operate hand tools, welding equipment, and perform residential painting tasks when required.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus for guiding less experienced staff.
