Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Duties
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, flooring, plumbing, wall covering, electrical work, painting and HVAC work
- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
- Troubleshooting and repair hotel equipment, facilities and systems including HVAC and electrical.
- Performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms.
- Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and general areas including pool
- Diagnosing potential problems within the building
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Service technician experience with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration technology, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently or lead small teams during maintenance projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Construction experience is a plus for handling renovations or upgrades within the facility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
